By, Emma McCann and Megan Munoz

Welcome.

George Orwell wrote the novel 1984 in 1949 to warn the present about the possibilities of the future.

Aldous Huxley wrote the novel Brave New World to express his concerns about rapid technology advancements, scientific progress, social conditioning, and the decreasing of human individuality and values.

Both dystopian societies continue to make a huge impact by allowing readers evaluate society as it is today in America.
